On March 27, Bergman & Beving announced that an agreement has been signed with Ahlsell regarding the divestment of Skydda’s Nordic operations. The divested operations are valued at MSEK 300, excluding a possible additional purchase consideration amounting to a maximum of MSEK 80.

The transaction was subject to approval of the competition authorities in Sweden, Finland and Norway. The Swedish Competition Authority has now approved Bergman & Beving’s divestment of the subsidiary Skydda Sverige to Ahlsell. The competition authorities in both Finland and Norway have already approved the divestment of Skydda Finland and Skydda Norge. The closing is expected to take place on 1 July 2025, whereby Ahlsell will be the new owner of Skydda Sverige, Skydda Finland and Skydda Norge.

No major change of the realization result is expected. In line with what has previously been communicated, the write-downs of goodwill of MSEK 270 related to this divestment, has already been made during the fourth quarter 2024/2025.
