Our value creation toolbox

Our expertise focuses on helping our companies to overcome these growth barriers. However, we do not favour standard prescriptions. Instead, we have developed a value creation toolbox, built upon seven distinct support tools, enabling our companies to take a tailored approach.   

1. Professional governance
Your company board will have extensive experience and relevant sector/industry experience. Our companies develop a business plan with objectives we agree on, however, it’s up to the companies themselves to decide how to get there. We do not work with budgets, instead annual targets focusing on earnings and profitability. Tools like the “Focus model” will enhance your strategic focus.

2. “Direct injection” of functional expertise
In our company’s’ functional expertise is sometimes scarce. To remove this barrier, we ensure that our companies have access to functional experts in many different functional areas, something we call “direct injection” in e.g. pricing, marketing, export, and digitalisation.

3. Access to benefits from a large scale business on you company
We have service centres within Bergman & Beving where you, in your discretion, can outsource functions such as accounting, IT, and logistics. You than benefit from the scale and width of services in those functions, increasing quality and decreasing costs.

4. State-of-the-art acquisition support
Making add-on acquisitions could be challenging if you have limited experience. We help to remove this barrier by providing experience and resources in all aspects of the acquisition process.

5. Support for internationalisation
Establishing a presence in new geographies could be time-consuming and costly. To address this, Bergman & Beving has hubs in key markets around the world offering access to hub companies with a full back office. This enables you to quickly establish your company in a new country at a low cost and risk.

6. Improve people development and motivation
Strategy and execution are about people and our “Bergman & Beving University” nurtures people. 

7. Share experience within the Group
We arrange fora where MDs meet informally, which gives everyone an extra sounding board and the opportunity to share experiences.
